Samantha Golding is an inspirational and dynamic businesswoman. She began her hairdressing career in 1988.  She then started her own business with funding from the Princess Trust in 1993.  Since then, Samantha has gone from strength to strength.   For the last seven years, she has been an educator for the Avlon industries and delivered education in the UK, Europe and the USA.  Her knowledge and experience has enabled her to have a clear perception of the strength and weaknesses within the hairdressing sector.    She has also formed a professional relationship with Salon Advantage, which specialises in Software package for the Hairdressing industry. This has helped her to understand the training and development needs for the sector.

 

In addition, Samantha has played a key role in developing the first UK national and international African type Hairdressing standards. Launched as a new qualification in the UK in 2009.

 

Samantha’s achievement has been outstanding and she has won a number of awards from the hairdressing and community sector in recognition of her commitment to the industry.  Some of these awards and achievements are:
